Philosophy

My goal is to provide all the children in my care a clean, safe, and loving environment, where they can play and learn.
Respect toward self, others, and the environment will be emphasized. I believe in the value of both structured and flexible schedules. Structured activities will include the use of a preschool curriculum, regular reading times, arts and crafts, outdoor and freeplay activities.
Each child is an individual and needs to be treated as such. They come to us in all shapes and sizes and at all stages of development. Yard Youngin' Childcare will guide them through these stages and build upon them.
Our philosophy incorporates open communication between staff and parents in a safe and stimulating environment that enriches the children through these important first years. The secret to caring for a child is actually CARING for the child.
